Blog Entry #3 The war on Iraq

 Slanted is reporting that is used to show both the good and bad side of things happening other than being just one sided. It also allows us as people to see how much information is being put out there about the topic we are interested in. I found a very interesting topic on slanted reporting and it is on the war in Iraq which has been a crazy ride for us Americans since 2002. The story i read was called "The Iraq Effect: War Has Increased Terrorism Sevenfold Worldwide" This article basically says that this little war between the United States and Iraq has caused a huge deal of terrorism across the whole world.

 

 Sad to see this is what our world has become

In my eyes i feel as if this article along with any other article involving the war on Iraq is slanted because it states that the war was a good idea at first, but now it has gone to far and terrorism is running our world. I personally feel as if this whole war should be over and people should take it for what it is. Us as Americans have nothing else to prove or do over there and we need to realize that because kids as young as eight are seeing whats happening and they are starting to think its cool or funny when it really isnt.

I hope we all can see the harm that terrorism is doing to our society and understand that this all needs to stop.
